LESSONS AND RATES
The duration of my lessons are of 1h. Upon request I can teach groups as well. Lesson fees start at 50€ per lesson.
My studio is located in Prenzlauer Berg.
A BROADER PERSPECTIVE
Theory, Harmony & Composition
Even though the main request for my lessons is the guitar, I'm very happy when people contact me for theory, harmony and composition tuition. Composition is one of my main activities and I'm delighted to share my knowledge.
A different approach to learn music is when one decides to analyse compositions and to get deeper into the building blocks that forms wonderful masterpieces.
To do that, it is necessary to learn the alphabet of music which is theory and harmony.
To understand the grammatical rules and how each time composers broke those rules to express themselves.
Join me in this fascinating journey.
Analytical approach can also be applied to "simpler" music.
The main thing for me is that music has an interesting texture and that those who wrote / played it had and urgency that came from within.
MY STORY
I've been teaching guitar ever since the days I was a student in the Conservatory of Milan and continued when I moved to Berlin as a gigging guitarist.
No matter how long it has been, I too develop with each lesson
I give.
I find it extremely fascinating to learn about my students's musical taste and help them learn the songs they're passioned about.
It is a great joy to see a pupil uplifted by my lessons.
Through music I can contribute to the lives of others and feel a sense of community.
Education
Academic Degrees both in classical guitar and experimental composition.
Experience
After my graduation, I moved to Berlin gaining experience, playing doezens of shows with different bands.
I've toured in Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland .
GROUP LESSONS
For people who have prior experience on the guitar, playing with other is the next step and it could be much more fun to share the experience of music with other people with which we can relate in taste and vibe.
You have to have and open ear and heart to play with others and once it clicks it is a wonderful thing.
